Photography

My photography centers around portraits and the small details that shape them - the texture of skin, the flow of fabric, the glow of golden light across a face or accessory. I initially started photography as just a hobby, practicing through self portrait photography because nothing compares to executing an idea that only you can envision in your head. The shoots I felt most excited towards involved exploring my love for cultural creative direction. There’s a subtle power in finding pieces of yourself within what you create. Many of my photos still focus on South Asian cultural fashion, exploring composed environments where light, color, and framing define emotion and narrative.  That foundation shapes how I build every photo. In the end, my photography reflects observations of the stillness and light I see, and how I choose to remember it.
