Shugapops
Shuga Pops is a Texas-based e-commerce brand specializing in gourmet popcorn and candy products. The business sought to renovate its website with updated content, a more consistent layout, and new shopping features aimed at increasing holiday sales. A key initiative was the creation of a custom product box feature.
As the UI/UX Designer, I worked closely with the Shugapops business owner through frequent stakeholder meetings to align on design direction, functionality, and technical constraints. Drawing from my background as a Business Analyst, I led the project with a structured, requirements-driven approach to ensure clarity, alignment, and efficient execution. I broke the project into actionable phases, creating and presenting a high-fidelity prototype within three weeks to allow sufficient time for development and testing.
Using WordPress, Elementor, and supporting plugins, I designed and implemented a custom product box feature that enables users to curate a bundle of four popcorn products in a single purchase. This structured, business-informed design process ensured the final solution aligned with Shuga Pops’ sales goals, enhanced the user experience, and supported a successful holiday launch.
